@Mrs. Cat in the Cradle has enlightened me that apparently you can modify this is work for other things besides babies! Facebook will never be the same, haha!

I've heard of it. I've had a few old high school FB friends say they are using it and "can't stand all the babies on their facebook" which is obnoxious to me.
Why don't they have a "Un-burningman.me" or "Un-too old for the club.me"

I would have totally used it a couple of years ago when we were struggling to get pregnant. I ended up hiding all my friends with babies manually.

If you can't tell I quite often UNcheck the little "show in news feed" button Ain't nobody got time for dat.

I like seeing pictures of everyone's babies, I really do, and I still found this to be funny. I guess it's the replacement pictures that are entertaining, like bacon and distinguished looking dogs.
I would like to block pictures of the food my friends make and eat. That's total snooze material for me, yet I'm always surprised by the amount of comments a picture of pancakes can rack up!

@pui: It reads keywords in the Facebook post. I downloaded it and have it all changed to various political terms, TV shows, etc. since you can edit what gets excluded.

@Mrs. Cat in the Cradle: That's pretty cool! I like blocking hashtags on Twitter - particularly so I don't get TV spoilers or have to see live tweets of shows I don't watch. But I can't block it on FB that way. How interesting! Note - what if someone posts "If 800,000 people..."? That doesn't use million in it

@LindsayInNY: You'll see it. But if you're really dedicated you can go through and add 100,000, 200,000 and so on.
I mute stuff on Twitter. I paid for Tweetlogix and it is a pretty good iPhone Twitter app.

@loveisstrange: I had to mute a guy with very similar beliefs (thoughts?) to what I hold because he posted about it all. the. time. and multiple times per day. Yeah, I'm not religious but that fact doesn't consume my life.
