do you use undershirts on your kids in the winter? I usually put a tank top onesie on DD2 under her shirt to keep her warmer in the case her shirt rides up. I only put one on DD1 (3 years) if she's wearing a thin shirt and it's REALLY cold out.

Occasionally we do a long sleeve undershirt on DD (2.5) just as a layering piece if it is a cold day. I may also try some tank top style this spring. I grew up wearing these everyday as a little girl but it doesn't seem as common these days.

Yup, every day. They go outside on the playground at school a bunch so I want them to have that extra layer.

My son always has two layers on, but I wouldn't really call it an undershirt - he's usually in a onesie or a long sleeved tshirt and a hoodie/sweater. But it's cold here and he goes outside twice a day.

Yup. Usually put a long sleeved one under a short sleeved onesie.

DS usually has a short-sleeved shirt under a long-sleeved shirt and DD usually has a short-sleeved onesie under her long-sleeved shirt. This is just in case we forget to bring a jacket for either one. It doesn't get horribly cold here, so two layers is enough for daytime play outside.

DD2 wears a onesie under her shirts but DD1 refuses, she wears dresses and leggings every day. I can barely get her to wear socks, and they come off as soon as her shoes are off.

I always put a onesie under his shirts, I hate when his little skin shows if his shirt rides up on cold days!

always. Tank onesie for the 1.5 year old, regular cami for the 3.5 year old

Yup, the older one wears a tshirt or tank top. The 16m wears a short sleeved onesie.

@sorrycharlie: I need to, but we don't right now. I always did growing up, though, and I still wear a tank under all my shirts now.

I never even thought about doing it unless we needed extra layers for warmth! LO usually runs hot and I never really layered with a tank until I was an adult, and mostly just in the past few years. Hopefully LO isn't the scandalous one! I also hate onsies...
