Just as the title states. My kid has grown out of some boots (Baby bogs), they're pretty worn on the heel, but no holes or anything else wrong, and I was gonna just gonna toss them. But then I thought maybe someone could still use them? Would you bother to list for free or donate? Or do you think at some point shoes should just get tossed?

I think you could donate! I'd bring them to a goodwill or even just drop them off at one of the clothes donation drop boxes.
I go to a store that buys and sells gently used kids clothes, toys, baby items, etc. I've gotten my daughter a few pairs of shoes from here, but noticed that the majority of the shoes are in pretty rough shape, though the store still paid someone for them and is trying to sell them so I'm guessing it works for them! You could always try something like this too.

I would donate. In some areas boots get worn so little (and kids grow so fast) it's not a priority to buy new. Good brands will be snapped up.

@PurplePumps: I also vote donate! If you donate, at least there is a chance someone else will use them, versus them going to the landfill.

Agreed on the donate and this doesn't apply for boots, but most sneakers can be washed in a washing machine and they always look so much better after. Just a tip about donating toddler sneakers.

I'm sure there is a kiddo out there that needs warm dry boots and doesn't care about the wear
