OK. So, I POAS today on an internet cheapie test and there was a very faint line?! I've never seen a faint line before - but this is my first time using those cheap internet tests (with the blue top, they're tiny/skinny)... I have one FRER left, but missed my FMU... should I test with a FRER mid-day today??
trying to not get too excited in case it was an evap line...

OMG you guys...I also POAS today (a First Response) and there is the faintest ever line!!!!! I am FREAKING out!!! I need to go buy more tests and then wait til tomorrow, right?? AHh!

@hellobeeboston: I don't know!!! I mean, I don't want to get disappointed if it's negative later today just because I didn't use FMU...but I would also LOVE to tell DH today, but I want a real "pregnant looking" test to give him, not this one where you have to squint and turn your head and then maybe there's a line, lol.

@hilsy85: i have been thinking the EXACT same thing! I would love a "we're pregnant!" V-day surprise --- but I don't want to say, umm, i THINK i might be pregnant! ha
i think i'm just going to try a test a little later just to see, otherwise I guess i'll have to wait until tomorrow

@hilsy85: @hellobeeboston: Ahh! When I was pregnant, I got the faintest of lines on an amazon cheapy and immediately confirmed with a digital...I say go digital! (I learned the best way to do it was to pee in a cup...that way I could test with multiple tests if needed). Just hold your pee for 3 hours beforehand and don't drink lots of fluids....or, wait for FMU : )

Ok I guess I'll try not to drink anything for a few hours before I leave work to come home and pick up a test on the way home! Eek!

@hilsy85: @hellobeeboston: Totally hold it and test again! That's what happened to me on sat. I had the faintest line ever on an Internet cheapie. I almost thought it was negative then I thought it was an evap line. I confirmed later in the day with a FRER and a clear blue digital. Keep us updated!

Yay, congrats to everyone! I got a BFP Friday afternoon (a few super faint/possibly nonexistent lines except the FRER which was clear as day) and confirmed with a blood test Saturday. I think I'm in denial though! HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY GIRLS!

Just POAS (at work!) using the ClearBlue Plus test and it was POSITIVE! I am in shock, and shaking... SO HAPPY.
Now, i need to think of a clever and fun way to tell my husband for valentines day! OMG OMG OMG

@hilsy85: I wouldn't worry too much about that, I had period like cramps the day I got my BFP!

@hilsy85: my line this morning was like WAY faint. but there was definitely something there - then i didn't pee or drink much for 3 hours and that test came up positive almost immediately!
i have also been crampy the last few days - i thought AF was coming for sure.

@hilsy85: Don't worry about the cramps. I've been cramping on and off since I got my BFP. I think it's pretty common.

Have to admit I didn't wait till V-day, which is good because my husband worked super late.
For our first baby, I bought a little baby shirt with a chick on it because I sometimes call my husband my chicken. So this time I dug it out and put it in my toddler's hands when his dad got home. He didn't get it at first, he was like, "Hi sweetie! Did you know this little shirt is how your mom told me you were on the way?" And I was like "AHEM! AHEM! AHEM!" and eventually he got it. LOL.

@winniebee: thanks! it was SO fun telling hubs. i wrote out a card about how this was our 9th vday together, adn our 10th would be even more special because we'd have a new love in our lives, and as he was reading the card twice, looking confused - i had a box with the test in it that i opened and when he looked up at me he saw the test in the box. it was the greatest moment of all time.
oh jeez, tearing up again.
