So, we are finally moving DD (3) to a toddler bed.
We need a new video monitor that can see the whole room.
I'd prefer not to have it connected to wifi, but I can't seem to find anything that works without it.
Recommendations?

We have, and love, the infant optics dxr-8. It comes with different lenses, including a wide angle one that would let you see the whole room at once.

We've been using the same Motorola set for going on 5 years now! I don't like anything that connects over wifi/phone either.

We have the same one as @catgirl: and love it. We don't have the wide angle lens, but can see nearly all the room anyway (ok it's a tiny room, but still!).
