Wagon Jr. has been fighting naps lately so I've had a lot of really good gems from video monitor spying. Yesterday while he was supposed to be napping, he was playing with his stuffed animals. He coughed and then he held up his stuffed dog and scolded it: "cover your mouth when you cough."
He also said "mommy, can I have George books please? no, later." I thought he was actually asking me to come in and give him books, then he answered himself... he was just playing. Haha.

lol so adorable! I spy on Liv in the mornings when she wakes up. Today she was laying there playing with her animals (a monkey thats like the sleep sheep, a big stuffed dog that we call "big doggy," and her 2 loveybears.) She had them laid out and picked them each up and said "hi!" followed by a string of unintelligible baby chatter, then kissed each one with a big hug. So cute. Also she pushed the buttons on her monkey until she finds the one that makes the monkey noises and laughs and laughs. Best sounds ever.
Then the dog barked and she stood up and shouted "Hey dog!" lol

I love video monitor spying! I always want to catch her saying something cute. The cutest thing I have seen is her going through the list of people who love her. "Mommy loves me. Daddy loves me. Grandma loves me. Uncle loves me. etc" I managed to record part of it with my iPhone!

@Andrea: the first time Liv said "mama" was in her crib and I caught it on the monitor! I got it on my iphone as well. I love that!

awww i cant wait for this! i used to spy on my nanny LO, and she was hilarious. I videoed her for her parents all the time! One I remember clearly was when she was about 1 y/o, and practiced saying "no" in every way she'd heard so far. "NO!" "no.." "no-no!' etc..lol.

She hasn't done much awesome monitor action, but she does chat to herself every morning and tun on her 'fishies' by herself now.
