So Wagon Jr. has had a mysterious, red, raised rash on the underside of his chin for almost 2 months. Some nights he'd pick at it during the night and we'd find blood stains on his sheets

We tried everything: vaseline, aquaphor/eucerin, eczema care cream, hydrocortizone/idoquinol, clotrimazole, then finally a prescribed antibiotic cream, and when that didn't work, a prescribed anti-fungal cream which we stuck to for 10 days. NOTHING did anything to change it. Finally the pediatrician prescribed a steroid cream and after the FIRST application it was almost gone!! After 2.5 days all that's left is a little bit of an open wound from the last time he scratched at it. I am SO RELIEVED.

I know the steroid cream is really strong but it's the first thing to have any sort of real effect on it. Man. I kind of wish we had gone straight to the 'roids but obviously that's really aggressive
