So I think I finally have my husband on board for wallpaper in our bedroom... But we have trayed ceilings in our room. Would you put wallpaper on the bit of wall on the step? Or paint it? Or?

I think it depends on the wallpaper. Grasscloth that reads like a textured solid-yes put it in the tray. If you have something more decorative or a pattern Iād pull a color out for the tray or use the background wallpaper color.
