I breastfed my first on demand and when he did get pumped bottles he never cared what temp they were.
I'm 98% exclusively pumping for baby number two and he is used to warmed bottles in the NICU.
Can anyone recommend a warmer I can get for home use?

We have the dr brown's bottle warmer which we used for formula with DD and now I'm using it for breastmilk with #2. I think it's one of the faster warmers, which I like. It's a little hard to clean though.

At home we just stick the bottle in a cup of hot water from the tap. For going out if I didn't want to nurse in public, I bought this Tommee Tippee portable bottle warmer. Essentially it was a hot water thermos with a cup.

We have the Avent one only because we have Avent bottles. It works well - takes about 5 minutes to warm up 4-5 oz.

We also use hot water from the tap and a coffee mug. DD seems to be content as long as the chill is gone.

I have the Avent one also. I really don't think you can go wrong with any brand tho!

@dagret: same!! Our Dr. Browns warmer died in the first couple months and I'm so glad we didn't replace it. Warm tap water or from a keurig type machine works just as well

When my preemie came home we didn't bother with a warmer. When he would take bottles (which wasn't more then 2, so disregard this response of you would like) we just used a cup with warm/hot water like they did in the NICU.

We have the Tommee Tippee bottle warmer and love it! Easier (for me) than trying to get the water hot enough to then have the bottle sit in it!

We use the Avent warmer. I guess the ones where you heat the bottles in actual water preserves the nutrients of breastmilk better.

We use the Kiinde Kozi, it's expensive but it won't over heat. Also got it at a huge discount on zulily.
