Before LO was born I thought we had waaaay too many burp cloths and bibs. Turns out we have a spitter and we go through sooo many bibs and burp cloths that it's awesome to have tons of them. I can stash clean ones all over the house so I'm never far from one.
Was there any baby item that you thought you had too many of but it turned out you didn't?

blankets! I had over 10 blankets and ended up using them all. one for the car, one in the diaper bag, one in the living room, etc.

Changing pad covers! I thought 1 was more than enough....but my LO was the open air accident queen!

Burp rags, we had several but I had to go buy more because she is such a spitter! (pretty ones didn't work we needed the thick Gerber diaper ones!)

blankets... I thought they would be a waste but we end up going through so many in the stroller, as burp rags, and of course as swaddles.

burp clothes for sure...and we still use them at 18 months to clean up messes!

Bibs. LO was a huuuge drooler.

I actually wish we would have gotten more bibs! She goes through a lot because she is at the drooling stage. We got a ton of baby wash (I think 8 big bottles), and I was thinking of taking some back because they are $6-$7 a piece. So glad we didn't because we definitely go through it quicker than I thought.

I thought we had a ton of diapers! We got so much at my shower and I was sure we wouldn't have to buy any for months. I was so wrong, we were out the next week! Definitely thinking about cloth diapering next time around.

Burp clothes and plain white undershirts (she wears them under a fleece sleepsack at night). And changing pad covers. DD just loves to pee mid diaper change.

Burp cloths and bibs. LO spits up all the time. I ended up buying more burp cloths and thinking about ordering even more so I don't have to do laundry so much.

Burp cloths and bibs! lol. We have SO many and I think we've used them all.

Wash cloths. I ended up using them for wipes too though.

Bibs, burp cloths and washcloths. Someone bought me a stack of 10 washcloths and I thought, I'll never need all of these. Um. I was wrong. Very, very wrong.

Changing pad covers and blankets. We use receiving blankets for everything! They line her swing and rocker to keep them clean, we use them as burp clothes, clean up rags, play mats, swaddling, and of course as blankets. They have a million uses!

Bibs! We must have around 20 bibs but it never seems like enough.

Bibs! When LO was brand new she never wore them, but around 3 months she started drooling like crazy! We get 3 or 4 dirty ones home from daycare every day.

Definitely sleep and plays! Those are our most-used clothing item.
