I feel like it's harder but that's because with LO we were preventing so he was a huge surprise. We just started the process but I feel more stressed because I know I want to get pregnant, and I'm older so time is not on my side. I really wish I had never gone on depo and just NTNP and had a nice surprise. I'm too type A for TTC I think.

@wonderstruck: That sounds like me! DD was conceived in one month of NTNP. DS took three cycles, which did feel like forever since DD was soooo fast. But it did take just three times, so that's not too bad. Third time around, if you get there, took one try again (we couldn't believe it!). So hopefully you get your BFP soon

We were lucky and conceived the first month both times. I was hoping to be a little less stressed about the ttc process this time but it happened much faster than I expected.

Far easier here so far. It took us 18 months and 2 miscarriages before we conceived #1. With #2, we had just pulled the goalie and was pregnant within the first month. I couldn't have been more shocked, but we lost that one to a miscarriage as well unfortunately.

#1 (MC) and #2 both happened on the first month of NTNP. We have been NTNP for a few months now, with last month being the first to actually TTC. I'm having a much harder time dealing with the emotions this time around, and I kind of expect it to just take longer. Plus, my BFF just found out she's preg with #2 and she wasn't trying at all, so I'm feeling a bit raw right now.

@littlek: It doesn't help that DH is too! He's really excited and looking forward to #2. Though, I much prefer that to indifference, I feel like I get my hopes up for both of us

The TTC process for #1 was difficult but we conceived easily. I got pregnant the first month (MC) and then we took a month off before trying again. I was able to get pregnant the first month again which was a CP. We then took 2 months off for testing, etc. I got pregnant the first month again and that's the one that stuck (LO #1).

With #2 we were NTNP basically after LO #1 was born and I got pregnant at 4 months PP. Luckily we already knew what had worked to make #1 stick and we were able to do the same things so that this was a successful pregnancy as well.

Our first took 3 cycles but that was coming off BCP. This second one took us one cycle after no prevention.

With our first it took us almost a year of on and off trying. We've been ntnp since LO was 2 months old and no luck yet LO is 10 months now. I hope we get our bfp before LO's birthday
