My mom also had a long labor with my brother than ended up with an emergency C-section!

mom-went into labor naturally but early (not sure how much early) and delivered twins vaginally; each weighing 6lbs something.

me-induced (because of sciatic nerve problems) the day before my due date delivered vaginally; DD weighed 8lbs 0.07oz

Didn't think to include this in my original comment but:

my identical twin sister-first was induced because of baby's size, ended up with vacuum and forceps vaginal delivery; second was scheduled c-section because she was also having an ovary removed due to a cyst that was present during both pregnancies (had tubes tied while they were in there too)

Both of my mom's kids were late. I was 19 days late... but we were both born under an epidural and vaginally. I sure hope our girl isn't late!!!

If I'm like my mom I hope it's like my delivery and not my brothers! My mom had my brother first. Bro came three weeks early... mom had 36 hours of labor, terrible pre e and bro came out blue. Mom was in the ICU at the hospital where she delivered and my bro was taken to the NICU at another hospital. Everyone is totally fine now but it was a bad situation for a couple of day there. Meanwhile I came on my due date, mom went to the hospital after breaskfast and I was out before lunch.

I hope and pray I'm like my Mom. Both her deliveries were 7hrs max from realizing she may be going into labor to holding her new babies. My (older) brother was 5 days late and I came right on the morning of my due date.
