What water shoes do you have for your LO? I want something that covers her whole foot because she still likes to crawl around a lot too. Oh, and I really don't want to drop a lot of cash, unless saltwater sandals are really worth it.

natives are really great. we got ones like natives from gap. old navy carries them too. i vastly prefer them to shoes made of fabric because they dry easily.

I agree with Mrs Bee, but we have had trouble with them staying on our LOs feet while walking! Try them on first!
We ended up ordering water shoes from Lands End--they are like sneakers. Unfortunately, the smallest size we could get was a 5...buuuut I can do up the toggle tight so they will stay on!

I agree with the natives knock offs at old navy. LO has a cute red pair, but unfortunately I can't get his chubby feet into them. Sigh.... He's one next week and has never worn a pair of shoes/sandals because none fit.
Hope you find some good ones!
The shoes mentioned above don't really have a super flexible sole though, so not sure if that would be an issue.

We buy the Speedo mesh water shoes from target. My DD really did not like her natives ( but saved them for DS so hope he likes them) since they can be slippery if not a perfect fit. and she has also had a pair from lands end. the mesh water shoes get smelly though!

@tysonja: We have the opposite problem. LO's feet are super narrow. Robeez and Keds are the only shoes that actually fit somewhat correctly.

Stride rite makes a pair of water shoes. Tje mesh ones. Man, I just saw them in perfect.condition at the.goodwill too!
