A while back I posted about our disappointment in the process of finding a doula and I gave up on the whole thing. Now that I'm getting closer to the end I'm getting a little more realistic about the fact that 1) this baby is really happening and 2) this is my 4th pregnancy and our only baby ever...this is it.

We interviewed a doula tonight and as soon as she left we both said to each other "she's the one". Her emphasis is on postpartum, but honestly any help I can get in labor will be better than nothing. She seems like she'll be really helpful with breastfeeding/CDing/babywearing, which I hadn't expected from a doula. So happy.
