My 70 MIL is getting married in four weeks. She says she doesn't want gifts, but I think we need to get one for a variety of reasons. Her fiancé is moving into her house, so they don't need household stuff. I have no idea where to start on this. Suggestions?

In a similar situation I had a small picture frame engraved with their names and the wedding date.

Maybe a gift certificate to a nice restaurant, concert tickets, Broadway show? I would think they might enjoy an experience gift!

@Alba4: I think my MIL would love that but no so sure about her fiancé. He is more of a homebody.

We got my mom a nice Michael Aram picture frame for her wedding.

My sister got my a Tiffany pitcher I use as a vase and I got myself a matching vase years later. Their bone china is beautiful.
