I want to get a pair of wedges but I am so picky about my shoes because they have to be comfortable - if I wear them to work I have to be able to wear them 8-10 hours without my feet aching!
Any good brands to look at?

those are adorable. i do find Steve Madden espadrilles to be comfortable. My feet are very sensitive so the leather needs to be soft or else they will cut up my feet

my favourite wedges are from nine west! they were a splurge for me at the time (i loved them so much i paid full price), but i noticed the nine west outlets have great prices!
eta: forgot to say that i love them bc they are crazy comfy! i ended up wearing them at my wedding under my dress... i figured noone could see them anyway (brown leather straps--totally didn't match the dress --haha), and they gave great height.

I have a pair of Born wedges and they are they most comfortable. But they are on the pricey side, I was lucky to find them at TJ Maxx.

My problem with espadrilles/wedges is they are usually SO high-- I'm already 5'7" and I don't really like wearing very high heels, but the low ones are always so matronly looking.
That said-- I have had a bunch of low or flat Kenneth Cole Reaction shoes and they have pretty much no arch support-- I always end up getting bad foot cramps if I walk a lot in them or wear them a couple of days in a row. They seem comfortable at first then it always happens, so I've finally just forced myself not to ever buy them, even though I really like the styles and the prices are usually reasonable. I had a pair of espadrilles from Unisa that I really liked-- comfortable, as supportive as a wedge sandal with straps could be, and the straps were really soft. This was years ago but I think the brand is still good.
