We're going on a weekend trip in February when DS will be 5 months old. We cloth diaper exclusively (pre-folds and covers). I would love to CD on our trip, but I fear it will be difficult, mostly due to storage issues. Here's the situation:

DH, SIL, DS and I leave Friday morning and have a 3-hour flight. We return on Sunday afternoon. We will be renting a car and staying in a hotel. On Saturday, we will be outside for at least 6 hours with limited access to port-a-potties. I will probably be by myself with DS for most of the time that we are outside. We're not sure yet if I will have the stroller with me while we are outside.

My real issues are space in our luggage, space in the diaper bag/stroller, and bringing enough diapers so that I don't have to do laundry while we are there. I currently do CD laundry every other day. We will probably go up a size in the next month and a half.

If I decide to go with sposies, what kind do you recommend - especially CD mamas? Should I try them out before we go to make sure DS doesn't have a reaction? Thanks!
