What in your opinion is the very best disposable diaper brand for the value?
What's the best for leakage protection, minimal blowouts, but won't break the bank?

Pampers Sensitive Swaddlers...
ETA- I missed the value part....Swaddlers are pricey but I heard you can subscribe on Amazon and save some money. We only use disposables occasionally and we are using Costco diapers right now.....not a fan.

I'd have to say Up & Ups (Target) are the best value we've seen so far. They feel better than Luvs, protect fine against blowouts, and are cheap. They are not as soft as Pampers, which we use at night, but for day time when she's only in them a couple hours at a time, I've been very pleased with them. They've never leaked on me other than a couple of blowouts (girl can blow out like a champ!!)

we like pampers swaddlers for little ones, pampers cruisers for size 3 and 4. When they're on sale Target Up and Up for sizes larger than 2 are really great.

Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive. That's what we started with, and I tried many other brands in-between, but it's what works best for us. Huggies always give my LO diaper rash and she would have blow outs in them when she was younger. Tried Kirkland, but they didn't feel as soft against her skin.

I like Luvs for value but if I have the money to spend then I like Pampers.

If I were rich, I'd choose Honest. But I am not rich. LOL.
I love Pampers Swaddlers and Cruisers, however, they are pricey - I stocked up on the Amazon sale. Once those are gone, we may go to Target brand or Luvs. I had bad luck with poop blowouts in Target brand last I tried them, and LOVED Luvs, but they smell super perfumey.

@Bookish: I'm in complete agreeance with this. We love Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive for how soft they are, but have absolutely no complaints about the Up and Up brand. A little rougher in texture, but DD does not mind in the least. We also have yet to have any leakage to speak of. It's a great money saver!

Pampers Swaddlers & Luvs work better for our boys.
I honestly think that whether you love or hate a brand of diapers is so dependent on your baby's body structure. Huggies and Up & Up (the Target brand) are blowout/leak city on our boys, but they have really skinny legs, so I think that's the problem for us with these brands. Clearly, they work great for others on this thread.

Pampers swaddlers for us!
@Mrs. Blue: Maybe that's why Molly hasn't had any leaks/blowouts--she's got some chunky thighs!

We were using Pampers swaddlers/cruisers but have recently switched to Target diapers and haven't had any issues. Like others have said texture is a bit rough compared to Pampers, but for the price you can't beat it.

I'm in the Pampers Swaddlers camp. We tried Kirkland's (Costco) and some Huggies we were gifted, but liked Pampers best.

Love Pampers Swaddlers but have also had great luck with Diapers.com diapers. They are super cheap and fit really well...no complaints

Thanks for the feedback! Sounds like Pampers Swaddlers/cruisers are the way to go!

swaddlers/cruisers are our "treat yo self" pricey diaper of choice. I buy those when I can get them down to about .17/diaper. I buy huggies when I can get them for about .14/diaper and target/luvs for .11-12/diaper.
Though L has had quite a few #2 leaks in the target diapers lately. Not very happy with them right now.

Another one for Pamper Swaddlers, I've tried others and always go back to Swaddlers. We've never had a blowout with them and they hold 12 hours through the night.

Pampers Swaddlers. I use the Extra Protection ones for night. I do Amazon's Subscribe and Save to cut down on some of the costs.

Another Pampers Swaddlers fan here! I try to wait to buy them until someone's having a sale where you save $10 for buying 2 boxes or get a $20 gift card or something like that.

We used Pampers Swaddlers when LO was tiny, and then I switched to Honest after a couple of months because I was intrigued by the natural thing and also they were so cute. But once she got mobile, the Honest dipes didn't fit her very well anymore. Honest doesn't make a special dipe for crawlers/walkers, so it would bunch up from all her moving and she looked like she had a loincloth on, lol So I quit Honest, and went with Pampers Cruisers and I LOVE them. They can hang with how busy she is!!!

We have been Team Pampers since the beginning. They aren't horrible if you go through Amazon Mom/Subscribe and Save, or exploit Target's deals when they give gift cards + use store coupons + use manufacturer coupons.

We love target brand(Up & Up). We've only had one pee leak and that was because I had the diaper elastic not all the way around his butt cheek(mommys bad lol)

I also have to say that Pampers Swaddlers newborn are great! During those first few weeks, I loved the newborn diapers so much.
Also, don't forget to sign up for Pampers Gifts to Grow. I didn't start doing it until later. I could have gotten more points than I have. It's worthwhile to do if you're using their diapers and wipes.
