Anyone using WW right now? Want to be friends?
I just signed up this morning for online only. It will be my third time.

I've been a member (again) since August and am down 15 lbs so far. But stuck getting past this 15 lb mark for like a month now.

I am signed up for the online program but have fallen off the wagon... I just can't seem to get motivated. Maybe this will be the motivation I need!

@DillonLion: That's a great start!! I hate plateaus. Did you try messing with the points allocation at all?
@CakeLady: I need to get motivated. I am postpartum from DD2 and still need to lose the pregnancy weight from DD1. Oops. I'd be happy to be your buddy. I'm pretty sure we can add each other and keep up with how the other is doing.

@MrsH: Yeah, its not any big mystery on my end, I'm just going over on points

@DillonLion: lol. Gotcha. I'm guilty of just not tracking but I've got my post kids going to bed wine entered in there already.

@MrsH: Awesome! I seem to do better when I at least try and pre-plan my meals. Going back in after and entering everything means its too late to adjust so I just go over.

@DillonLion: Agreed. I try and at least guess at what I'm going to eat that day and if I have to edit later, then that is what I do. Usually I input dinner as I'm deciding what to make/eat. I've been awful about meal planning with a toddler and a newborn. its. just. too. hard.

I'm giving myself 6 months after having DS2 to just sort of be before I start to get serious about losing the baby weight. Coincidentally, that will be around January. I plan on starting WW online then with all of the other new year's resolution people! We can get half off through work so I want to take full advantage.

@MrsH: @DillonLion: are you guys still doing WW?? I just joined today to give it a try. I'm going to give it a couple months and see if it helps, there was a deal, and my work will actually reimburse me for the membership so what the heck... any luck??

@hellobeeboston: Yes! I had a great weigh-in a week or two ago, but working to get back on track after being out of town for a wedding last weekend. It is always an up and down journey, but ultimately the scale is going down and I'm getting healthier in general, so I plan to stick with it for as long as possible.

@DillonLion: congrats on the great weigh-in!!! yay
what are your go-to low-point snacks???
GOLD / eggplant / 11517 posts
@hellobeeboston: I'm a "3 square meals a day" kind of person, so I don't do a ton of snacking. If I do, I just stick to fruit since it is zero points!

@DillonLion: OK, i'm a snacker, haha...
wow, fruit used to be points, great that its zero now!

@hellobeeboston: I am but the new plan is making it hard for me to stay under my points. Do you feel that way @DillonLion: ?

@MrsH: question: is there a calculator for the new points system like there used to be for the old? I used to have that slider thing where you could calculate points based on calories & fiber (I think) --- does that exist now???
also - what is the deal with the "weekly remaining" points - are those like my splurge points to use whenever? Same with Fitpoints - can I use those all at once?
I feel like there is very little instructional information on the website & app.

@MrsH: It is more challenging to stay within the points values on the new plan, but it helps to aim for more protein rich foods (and avoid sugar-laden stuff), as most of those have actually gone down in points. For example, I switched from vanilla yogurt to non-fat plain Greek yogurt (lots of protein, way lower in sugar) so that I don't blow so many points.

@hellobeeboston: i think they have the equivalent of the slider online/on the app you have to hit the plus sign and then hit calculator.
yeah the weekly points are on top of your daily points and you can use them as you see fit. same with the fit points (that you earn from doing exercise) you can mess with the settings to only allow you to use them on the day you exercise i think if you don't want to accumulate them for the week.
@DillonLion: sadly there is no protein in wine.

@MrsH: At least wine didn't seem to go up in points after the switch. Phew!

@MrsH: oh you're right! I never saw that calculator before - thanks!!
