Is anyone else weirded out by the commercial warning against lead paint poisoning? It has this lullaby playing and you see milk being poured into a bowl of cereal or a bottle. Then the camera zooms out and you see that it's white paint from a paint can. It really freaks me out and I don't like it. I know that's why they did it because it's effective, but it just weirds me out.

@chopsuey119: the first time I saw it, I was all happy thinking it was sweet and then it finished and I was like, "Oh no!!! So bad!". It's really weird.

Have you seen the rape whistle baby shower commercial? I HATE it!
I woman is opening gifts at her baby shower and opens a box, pulls out a whistle, and the person who gave it to her says "it's a rape whistle". Then there are some scary stats about women being assaulted. -

I haven't seen the rape whistle one, that sounds weird, but I actually think the lead poisoning one is pretty cool. It's unique and visually clever.

@ladyfingers: That's true. I still shudder thinking about eating milk with the paint in it. It totally affected me and I'm more aware of lead paint posioning than I was before the commercial, so it's definitely doing its job.
