Last year we took DS to around 12 houses - we came home and emptied out his bag and found instant coffee and sugar - WTH?
We are pretty sure we know which neighbor it came from and cant wait to see what he hands out this year - haha

That's funny! Maybe it was someone cleaning out their cabinets and they thought it was candy. We had a dentist in the neighborhood who would pass out toothbrushes lol. And the old lady who'd toss a few pennies in your bag.

I remember getting cans of pop/juice boxes and I thought it was the coolest thing!

I got Halloween pencils and notebooks when I was kid - I actually liked them! Especially because my parents didn't try to steal those... haha

That's weird....
I do remember the year we got to take a handful of pennies from a jar at someone's house. My bag broke halfway home. I was soooo sad.

A bloke gave £200 worth of cocaine to some trick or treaters last year, in the UK, thinking it was a bag of Harribo! Now that would be a weird thing to find in your kid's bag!

One of my elementary school teachers lived in my neighborhood and she gave out bags of "smart"food popcorn. I alwaus thought that was cute.
