We don't have cable, but I THINK Friends comes on Nick at Nite...which I feel like used to be for really old shows when I was a kid!!

I love this! I've watched the whole series about a million times so I'm constantly making friends references. Earlier today I told my husband, "it was the best day!" (From when Ross talks about mini muffins at his work. And then chandler says, "your work makes me sad" :-P)

ETA: another one that always cracks me up: "it's NOT that common, it DOESN'T happen to every guy, and it IS a big deal!" "I KNEW IT!"

@sera_87: Funny that you mention that....I went on the WB studio tour a few years ago, and when talking about the filming of Friends, the tour guide said, "And in every single episode they go to Central Perk. Every one!" I raised my hand and said, "uhh...actually, I know of at least episode where they are only in the apartment: The One Where No One's Ready." And he said, "You're wrong!" and I said, "No, I'm not!" I was not wrong . I might not know a lot about the last few seasons, but that episode I know inside and out!

Friends is the best.

@sera_87: This is a decent debate... But I like Friends better. I think they just did a better job keeping things interesting over the years. While Ross can be annoyingly whiney, I don't think he is nearly as annoying as Ted on HIMYM. I do appreciate all of the running jokes in HIMYM, like the slap bet and the dopplegangers, etc. But after about season 5, I got bored with the show, so I never finished it!

"The one with the flashback" is my favourite favourite favourite. For SO many reasons.

And as for the HYIMYM vs Friends debate. Friends. Hands down. Not a misstep in the whole series.
