There are a lot of movies filmed in Seattle.
As for my home town, the movie, The Blob was filmed in one scene.
In my DH's home town, some scenes from 'Marley and Me' were filmed there. I think there's others. Oh, not to proud of this but some scenes from Jackass were filmed in the same city.

I'll use my hometown, St Louis.
Up in the Air with George Clooney, Meet Me in St Louis, Larger Than Life (the one with Bull Murray with the elephant), Um... Planes, Trains and Automobiles. Escape from New York was in East St Louis. Part of Silence of the Lambs. National Lampoon's Vacation.
That's all I can think of.

In my tiny hometown, there's been I Know What You Did Last Summer and parts of Secret Life of Bees (both of these had parts filmed in my friend's dad's theatre). Also, Summer Catch, A Walk to Remember, and the Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood.
In the bigger city about 25 miles away where we lived a few years (and hope to move back soon), Dawson's Creek and One Tree Hill. Also, lots of movies including Domestic Disturbance, Nights in Rodanthe, Message in a Bottle, and Crimes of the Heart. Filming for Iron Man 3 is going to start this summer.
Wilmington is nicknamed "Hollywood East."

We just had a dolphins tale. It was nice because they built the aquarium some nice tanks for filming.

Nebraska isn't really a happening place for movies/TV shows. The only one that comes to mind is that horrible Tommy Lee Goes Back to College reality show...talk about an embarrassment! ha! We do get excited when Nebraska even mentioned in a movie, it doesn't happen very often!

Endless! MI had a tax break for film crews and production companies so we had a TON of movies filmed here in the last few years. Just off the top of my head is: Harold & Kumar Christmas, Real Steel, Scream 4, Jumper, etc.

Toronto is a super popular place to film. Let's see, where I used to work (a historic area of Toronto), they've shot a bunch of commercials, Covert Affairs (tv show), tons of movies including Chicago. Scenes from the movie Red were shot at the Royal York on Front Street, and The Tuxedo... Oh there's so many!
Isn't it exciting when you realize that you're watching your hometown on the screen? I love recognizing places and pointing them out to my movie buddy.

Parts of Public Enemies (with Johnny Depp) were filmed in Madison. And just "down the road" in Milwaukee, parts of Transformers 3 were filmed. Those are the only ones I know about (because they happened after I moved to Wisconsin!).

Portland Oregon is a popular place to film too, currently they're filming Grimm here. We were out to dinner and they filming right outside the restaurant! Management with Jennifer Aniston was filmed very close to my hometown!
