Sigh! I really miss writing on weddingbee, but moved on once my wedding was over. But I'm so glad hellobee exists now, because having kids is for life! I really look forward to seeing how this site grows over the years too.

Not a blogger on the site but NOT for lack of applying. (4 years... not still bitter or anything... haha!) I was all over that site before my early 2010 wedding. I'll be changing my HB name back to the WB username aka the username I use everywhere when we go public Tuesday (hopefully!)

@Meridian: I remember your wedding, Mrs. Emerald! We were married in October of '07 and I followed WB all through my wedding planning and for probably 2 years afterward, hoping and wishing that there would be a mommy version soon. Then I quit because I just wasn't in that stage of life anymore and I was having a hard time keeping up with all the new bloggers. I still follow That Wife (Mrs. Avocado) and for awhile there were a few others, including OMG Mom and was it Mrs. Cherry Pie who had the amazing wedding in/near Glacier National Park? Anyways, I was a blog junkie, but never got into the boards. Probably because I was engaged for less than 5 months and didn't really have the time, lol.

I followed the blog and the boards religiously, mostly AFTER I got married (since I was only engaged for 3 months and found WB with a month left...). I stayed mostly on the Nesting Boards, and the last few months of my pregnancy really only went to my August Babies thread. I pop in occasionally but I don't stay very long...I don't know anyone there now, and the wedding drama is just...meh. I've totally become one of those self-righteous "all that drama doesn't matter because I have a kid to think about!" mothers now, lol. I'm exponentially happier here!
