I know by who and I'm extremely thankful! I can't afford to pay it forward right now (which is why this person was so nice and gifted it to me) but when I can I definitely will!

Once we get all of our moving costs settled, I will be gifting myself and someone else. I absolutely love the idea of making someone's day with a random act of kindness and the love this community has been showing is seriously making my day!

Nope! But I don't expect to be. As wonderful and nice as it would be, expecting it would seem a little... presumptuous? I love seeing it happen to other people though! Every time it feels like I am reminded of how different this community is from others and how it really, truly is a community and not just a "forum".
One day I plan to get one. It just isn't in the budget yet. And I hope to one day be able to gift it to someone else too! I mean, if I can afford it, why not share the love?

Nah, I wouldn't expect it since I'm not as heavy a poster. I'm happy so many of you were gifted it, though. It is quite the interesting phenomenon.

I won gold in the Silent Bees thread by Sugar.Biscuit. Someone kindly gifted gold as well so two new bees were able to win! It felt amazing to be given the gold! I think it's so awesome that people are being gifted!

nope, but i don't think i post enough on here that someone would think to do it and i am fine with that. i plan on getting it when i have more time to post. now i am only on here in phases. And i think it's great that other bees are doing it for each other. i do hope that no one feels left out, i don't think so though.

I was one of the people who suggested gifting. I didn't learn of it on reddit, but somewhere else. I thought it was a cool thing because I know I'd much rather spend the money on someone else rather than myself!

I love all the gifting going on! It definitely produces the warm and fuzzies! I hope to gift someone when it comes into the budget. I agree with @Mrs. Jacks: and would rather gift it to someone else instead of making myself gold.

Nope, im a quiet one and I don't have a baby yet so I don't really expect too! However in the future if there is an option to buy without using paypal I would love to buy one and then gift someone! Such a sweet community!

@Mrs. Jacks: Oh sorry for the confusion! The name Gold was inspired from Reddit... as for gifting, our programmer first suggested it but I'll have to ask her where she got the idea. We both are familiar with Reddit though, so I had assumed she got the idea from there.
Originally I wasn't going to ask for gifting to be in the initial release, but our programmer really pushed for it (and you mentioned it too!) so we made sure to work it in!

I haven't been gifted gold but like many other posters, I don't think I post enough for someone to think about it. I would like to get gold but DH and I are trying save every penny to get a good down payment for a house. Perhaps for Mother's Day DH will make me gold.

I haven't been but I think all the love/gifts has really strengthened HB and eased my fears that the golds were going to be cliquey.
