I was gifted gold and I think it's such a cool idea! I plan on paying it forward sometime soon.

I was gifted Gold anonymously, and wish I knew who gifted it to me! I paid it forward and gifted the Gold membership to another Bee member!

@tororojo: ha, i hear you! i don't have a paypal account, so i'm waiting for my BFP, then i think i will finally ask him to gift me gold. I guess i could be waiting a while, haha, but i feel like that would be a good BFP present

I wanted it but we couldn't fit it into our budget at the moment with baby due any day. I was anonymously gifted it and it really made me happy - I can't wait to pay it forward when we have a little extra money.

No, but I do think all of the gifting lately is awesome! I love seeing those threads pop up. If I could afford it, I would totally love to gift someone anonymously.

"The front page of the internet." Basically it's a bunch of user-submitted...stuff--pictures, articles, research, music, etc.. It can range from funny...to "aww..." to WTF. There's an INSANE amount of "sub-reddits" that are more focused "boards" if you will (everything from world news, to specific cities, to /makeupaddiction (plus some you NEVER thought would exist)).

One of the "features" they do (also a sub-reddit) is called an AMA (ask me anything). Anyone from celebrities (Bill Gates in this case) to someone that is "out of the ordinary" (someone with a disease, a 9/11 first responder, etc.), or just a "normal person" (manager at a hotel) will answer reader's questions.

I realize I totally suck at explaining things, so hopefully someone else can help!
