My MIL says the whole point of the first few months is to bring the new parents on their knees. 
I definitely did feel humbled. I always knew there was a lot I didn't know, but I still feel less judgmental about other parents!

hmmm I guess I never felt much like a know it all... Being a nanny most of my life I knew going into this how difficult it would be... I wouldn't be able to give the kid back at 5pm and have and entire night to myself hahaha!

Oh gosh yes. I did a lot of reading, took the classes, but nothing can prepare you for the actual experience of taking care of your new baby (unless you've already spent a lot of time around babies).

Absolutely. And honestly, I find parenthood even more humbling now that I have a three year old than I did when she was an infant.

Yes, but more like, now I know for sure it is not.about.me.at.all. I mean, I knew that before but it wasn't something I could fully grasp the extent of until we had LO. It's pretty humbling to go out thinking you and the babe look super cute, only to realize she pooped through her pants and you have spit-up trailing down the back of your shirt

Heck yes. To the point that DH and I are now very seriously considering being one and done (we had always said before we wanted two). We love her to death, but this sh*t is HARD!

Yes. SO humbled. I have always been of the mindset that I could research, work on, figure out any problem and achieve my goal... until I had a baby He couldn't care less what I've read or what I want to happen! I think it's humbled me, in a good way.

@googly-eyes: It's an incredibly humbling experience to have to appologize to a three year old. 
My daughter is not at all afraid to hold us accountable for yelling, impatience, etc... , lol. Raising a toddler/preschooler really highlights all of those negative traits you need to work on!
