Yes, all the time! My dad and uncle would record books on tape and trade them so we could play them whenever we wanted. I swear following along with that helped me read a lot earlier.

I've been loving that after he turned 1 my little guy has been bringing us books to read to him and paging through them in his own too!

Nope. I think my parents would read to me if I asked, but that was a rare occasion. My dad sang to me a lot though.

I didn't really start becoming a reader until I was about 16 or so and now I read to our kids all the time and plan to read to this little guy even more once he makes his appearance!

Yep! And so was DH, and we have read to LO every night since he was 4 weeks old.

My nana read to me every morning when I spent the night at her house. It's was our morning ritual. I'd take a huge pile of books into her room and climb in bed with her.
