I thought about doing postcards through vistaprint when we moved, but then we suddenly had too much going on for me to actually get it done.

We sent out a moving announcement card. We took a pic of our LO standing on the front porch and then made a card on shutterfly.

We moved at Christmas, and included the new address on those cards. If we weren't already doing cards, i would have done an email.

Yes, we sent them when we last moved and I plan to when we move again. Oh, we don't move very often. I think we stayed at our apt for 5 years. If I was going into temporary housing, I wouldn't send it out, but if I bought a house or move into an new apartment, I would re-send. The idea of moving every year is not something I would ever do (bearing any unforseen events), so most of our moves are long term.

When I receive them from family or friends, I either hang it up on my refrigerator or place it in my address book so I can update it.

Email gets lost. I think a card is a great reminder. If you can afford it, though. Stamps get pretty expensive but I enjoy sending mail out.

I always do. I design them myself. We moved a lot within a short period of time though so it was warranted.

I made a postcard on Shutterfly that had our new address when we moved a couple years ago. I mailed them to all our family and friends and got some feedback that they were appreciated. I like sending mail, and it's a good way to give everyone your new address.
