Z can sit up pretty well and has kinda started solids, so I was thinking its time to get a high chair. When did you start using one?

We fed DD in her bouncy seat until 7 or 8 months, I think. Then, we switched to a high chair.

DD was about 4-4.5 months. She got bored of the bouncer but would sit happily in the high chair with some toys. We didn't actually start solids until 5.5-6 months.

about 4. 5 months, she loved it because we have it positioned in a spot that gives her a full view of the kitchen so she could follow us as we worked in the kitchen. At nearly 11 months, it is still one of her favorite places to sit!

5 months. We didn't start solids until 6 months but he loved sitting there and staring at us while we ate dinner.

DS is 4 mos and we haven't yet. I've put him in the bumbo and he has a difficult time with it so I haven't even brought out the high chair.
