Hellobee Boards

I have been helping my sister plan my niece's. She is doing a cheetah theme with bright pink. Not really my ideal but it fits her for sure.

We are doing a smash cake & a faux-booth for silly pictures. She is also using the number 1 as a "theme"

Haha. I've been pinning party ideas since C was like 4 weeks! Lol

We're going to do a rainbow themed b-day. She was born in April so I figured I'd play off of that and do a rainbow/April showers kind of thing.

First birthdays are a huge deal in the Korean culture and with LO being the first grandbaby for my parents, it will be a huge party with family/friends.

I'm knee deep in planning Baby Jumpers first. She's really into Mickey Mouse Clubhouse & love's Minnie, so we're having a Glam Minnie Party. Lots of pinks, black & white stripes, and glitter (where I can get away with it).

Here are my ideas, so far:

1. She was born in the fall so as a nod to season we'll be serving candy apples, decorated to match her theme.
2. We're having a dessert bar/candy station
3. I'm making a big backdrop for the candy bar to match her theme
4. We will showcase her monthly pictures
5. And her "first" pictures (first tooth, first time sitting up, first time eating solids, first hair cut, etc)
6. I'm having Minnie cookies made, covered in Disco Dust
7. We booked a photographer to take her first birthday photos (not for at the party, but similar to a newborn photo shoot. We hired the same photographer & I'll use the photo(s) in her invitation)

I've been collecting ideas for a few months, am working on designing the decor, and have booked a few vendors so far

@regberadaisy: haha. dood. I've already planned my #2's 1st birthday.. and I'm only 16 weeks pregnant! I have the venue, cake, and decorations all figured out...

We had a smash cake, ordered a really cute custom cake for her, I did all of the decorations and decided on a spring theme since she was born in the spring.
