Not too crazy but I dropped a bottle of fenugreek and my dog ate about 6 capsules before I could pick them up!
What are some of the craziest things your dog has eaten or gotten into?

Eek! Ugh. This is gross, but my dog used to take my pads out of the trash when he was a puppy. That's the nastiest/weirdest thing he's "eaten." Makes me wanna yak just thinking about it.

My dog likes chewing on tissues found in the trash. Gross!

Rat Poison. Among lots of other things but I think that was the worse!

@chopsuey119: My dog would do the same thing with the bathroom trash. Didn't matter what was in it: tissues, pads, tampons, etc. That mess was always fun to clean up.
He's also eaten a whole array of people foods he shouldn't: fruity pebbles, cupcakes, mountain dew, LOTS of candy bars, brownies, etc. He's also especially fond of my dad's jeans and underwear.

Our dog is a very bizarre eater.... he eats everything! Probably prefers salad and fruit over meat- what self-respecting dog eats vegetables?! He was never a chewer, but for some reason likes to eat paper once in a while. We joke that he's editing

I don't have a dog but my cat has eaten some weird stuff. When he was eight months old he ate the stuffing out of a toy and had to have it surgically removed. Then when he was two he ate the thin tie on the inside of a satin robe. That thing was around ten inches long! Luckily it came out on its own without causing any damage. Oh and our other cat likes to chew on toilet paper.

One of my dogs used to sneak into the cat's litter box and eat her poop. Another one of my dogs used to eat so fast, throw up, then eat his throw up. Nasty.

The remains of a rotisserie chicken. I felt horrible that I forgot to take the trash out that night. It was touch and go about having to go to surgery for a while, but we lucked out and everything passed after many, many x-rays.

My dog figured out how to open our deep fryer and drank the oil out of it...the results were NASTY from that one...

@marriedandlovingit: oh yeah. One of my dogs loves poop. Doesn't matter if it's hers or another animals. Ugh, so gross. She also ate an entire jumbo sized bag of potato chips once.

@chopsuey119: our dog did that too. Gross... Anything in the trash was fair game. Another weird thing was bars of soap! We had to switch to liquid soap. He once ate whole raw fish that my mom left on the counter to defrost and my brothers birthday cake. What a bundle of trouble! Cute though...

Used tissues, feces (her own, or the cats'), several pairs of shoes, a bluetooth headset, a Christmas ornament, and a bag of marijuana.

@sweetkate: our cat eats weird stuff too! He is like his mama, we love starches, pasta, crackers, potatoes. He takes it a little far and will eat clothing that has been treated with a starch at the store. I had a whole bag of thermal shirts from old navy I'd put way for Christmas and he ate holes in all of them!
EDIT: I almost forgot! As a kitten I took him to the bet because he was eating out of his litter box & I thought there was something wrong with him- turns out it was because I was using a wheat based litter- ewwww!

@mediagirl-- mine too, it's very strange. Even when he was a puppy and we were crate training him he loved to be around his own "business." I can't seem to understand that one!

Our yorkie has eaten our beagle terrier's poop.
GROSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.
Our beagle I think ate a bird once.
GROSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.
As far as regular food? They'll eat anything human besides veggies.

3 used condoms, used pads, and since we can now set him free in our backyard a dead bird and a squirrel tushy.

Oh. And he loves my lo's poo. He's gotten into her diapers, and licked diarrhea off the floor.

My dog thinks it's great to go in the dirt clothes basket when we aren't paying attention and steal dirty underwear and dirty socks and chews through them, so gross. She also takes used tissues from the trash and tears them apart into several pieces so we have to pick up the snooty ones.
The underwear makes me the most mad! I had to just buy a bunch of news one beacuse she has been on a rampage lately.

My parents were dog sitting for a friend (we kept the dog in our house while they were gone), and she managed to get into a box of old cassette tapes and eat a few of those, including my Footloose tape.

haha some of these are really funny! my little doggies used to eat their own and each other's poop. Once I left a half eaten nectarine on the nightstand while I went to the bathroom and I came back JUST in time to watch Bambam (the bigger chihuahua in my avatar) take the nectarine - as we chased him around he ended up swallowing the pit. I called the vet and apparently if the pit breaks, it can release cyanide and poison him so we had to take him in at 1:30am and they gave him a shot to make him throw it up. Yep. Watch your nectarine/peach pits around your dogs!

I've literally watched my dog poop, and turn around and eat it. So gross. She also eats cat poop, bugs, and the bathroom trash seems to be a favorite. She won't eat pretzels though. Go figure.

An entire Jimmy Dean's sausage wrapper with the metal twist ties on the end. That was a fun trip to the emergency animal clinic when we had a ton of family in town staying with us.

My mom adopted a dog that would eat anything. Three weeks after she got him he threw up a dog toy that she had never seen before. It had been in his stomach for at least three weeks. He used to eat the collars off of our other dog. He would vomit up the buckles but digest the nylon. So gross.
One summer he ate a tube of boat sealer, surprisingly nothing bad happened.

My late dog (little Pom mix, NOT a bird dog) ate a whole bird once, beak and all. She was sorry though, and so was I... for the next few days. EW. But the reason I wanted to comment was to share this for all the high-grossness tolerance dog lovers:

My dog didn't eat them but used to get used tissues out of the trash and shred them. My aunt's boxer once ate an entire metal picture frame, glass and all; he was nice enough to leave the picture slobbery but otherwise unharmed.
