A new local restaurant just opened up with a very yummy lobster roll. But my absolute favorite is the fish spread at another local restaurant on the beach.

I have two favorite dishes that are at very different ends of the spectrum.

The Sage Chicken Benedict from Hash House A-Go-Go (San Diego, Vegas, and Chicago). It's easily the most delicious thing I have ever eaten (part of, it's huge!)

L'Oeuf de Poule from Joel Robuchon in Vegas. The cheese course and the bread course are also to die for!!

Any of the many different cheese fondues from the Melting Pot........ this will be my celebration meal when I can have dairy again!!!

@Mrs. Bee: If you like snacking/small plates, have you guys tried Alta yet? We go there every time we are in NYC and everything we've had has been very good. Cool decor too!

Lasagne alla Bolognese This traditional dish is from Bologna, lean ground beef, pork, tomato,carrots, onion, garlic, 2 to 3 cooking hours and a grandmother's recipe is what we use for making our Bolognese sauce. In our Lasagna you won't find any ricotta cheese because the original recipe of the lasagna alla Bolognese calls for béchamel sauce and fresh ground parmigiano.

Maccheroni Paesani This is a really loved pasta shape, short and welcoming. We topped them with an imported taleggio cheese sauce, olive taggiasche (only in Liguria you can find this kind of olives, we import those olives directly) and ground black pepper.

I love the lobster grilled cheese with duck fat fries at Victoria Gastropub in Columbia, MD.

now that we've moved, i'm loving a szechuan beef and tendon with hand-pulled noodle soup at a local hole in the wall (A&J restaurant in rockville, md and annandale, va for those curious).

I love this little place in Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti Michigan. It is called Aubree's Pizzeria. Their pizza awesome!! We used to live within walking distance it was great!

I once had something called a "Shame Burger" in Philly...like 1/2lb patty + a big slice of scrapple + a fried egg. The thing was huge, I could only eat half of it!

I don't really have a favorite restaurant, and after reading this thread I feel like a serious food novice, haha! We ate out a lot in Philly but nothing really sticks out as being particularly amazing. The only repeat I've had at a restaurant is the hazelnut crusted tilapia with a lemon basil butter sauce at Carraba's, which we go to with my IL's sometimes. And I don't even particularly like fish!

I always get three of the a la carte tacos at our favorite restaurant downtown, Red Mesa Cantina -- the duck, shrimp, and pork tacos. And the chips and dips for an appetizer, it's a trio of guac, queso, and black bean dip. Or sometimes I'll get the chicken quesadilla if I'm feeling basic!
