God, I love baklava. Red bean anything. Mochi. Chendol Ice from Malaysian restaurants. And these little rice flour balls my mom makes coated in peanut and sugar. So good. She's making them this weekend; I can't wait.

There was some sweet doughy deliciousness one of my elementary school friend's mom made with our class. They were from India. I wish I knew what it was. My mom made stuffed grape leaves, so the sweat treat may not have even been Indian.

This thread is making me hungry. I'm bad with dessert names because by the time I get to it, I'm usually in food coma... but my favorites are those Sesame balls you get at Dim Sum. Is it called Jin Duey??? If you know the name, let me know... and that yummy pillowy yet slightly chewy almond cake. Do you know what I'm talking about?

Oh man. I'm with you on Mochi. I was super excited when I found Mochi Ice Cream at Whole Foods. I grew up in Hawaii so I love a lot of the Asian desserts. And Malasadas are a super favorite.
