We're going out on a lunch cruise with the ILs. SO excited!
It was supposed to be a "surprise" for DH but ILs blew it. 
Then we're throwing some steaks on the grill (DH and FIL's fave meal). I'm sure DH will want to watch the US Open as well. 
Just a relaxing family day; hope the weather cooperates.

The night before we're going to Orlando to see my niece's recital. So that day we'll go to the beach and lunch near there with my BIL, niece, MIL, and FIL. Then we'll drive home, LO will nap in the car, and we'll do dinner with my parents.
This all will only happen if our pup is doing ok. My mom will watch him when we're gone and I trust her with him..... but it'll be hard to be away from my sick puppy!

My mom and dad are coming over and we're throwing steaks on the grill. My husband also requested that we go out to our favorite Irish Pub for a big traditional Irish breakfast, followed by a trip to the comic book store where LO will pick out a comic for him

@Adira: Awe...that's a bit inconsiderate of the hosts of the bridal shower to do it on Father's Day!

@MsLipGloss: Ha Ha, love it! I remember that episode. But it's just a family lake house about 20 minutes away from everyone, and it serves as a central location for holidays and such. Not much "summering" going on. I'm pretty sure there is seashell wallpaper from 1992 in there.

@2PeasinaPod: Yeah, I'm kind of bummed about it because it's Hubs' first Father's Day, but I also know he doesn't care about that kind of stuff as much as I do, so it's okay. It's better that they had it on Father's Day than on Mother's Day (at least for our family)!

@Adira: I was complaining about having a baby shower the Saturday of Mother's Day weekend! But glad that your DH is cool with it! And I guess you could always decline, but I like going to showers...especially those who came to all of mine!

@2PeasinaPod: Yeah, Hubs wasn't even aware there WERE Mother's and Father's Days!!! I had to educate him before Mother's Day came so he knew he had to do something, haha. And I like going to showers too and this girl used to be my roommate in college, so I'm happy to go to it!

We're flying to visit with my husband's family & having a surprise birthday party for my father-in-law on Saturday. Sunday we're having brunch with his dad, supper with his mom, and flying home that evening.
We did a "pre father's day day" last Sunday. I've been flustered, so it didn't go great, but my husband said it was good enough for him

On Saturday we're going to my parents and the dads (BIL, my dad and DH) all get steak and the rest of is will grill hamburgers and hotdogs.
Sunday will be just our "family day" and I think the three of us will go to the zoo.

@bunnylove08: I'd assume that was the one you were going to! We see it all the time from the bridge when we head into C-Town. My brother loves it too; especially their steak sauce. We should do a date night next time we're back and ask my mom to babysit. hehe

Wellll I bought a card. And I'll probably make him breakfast but that's about it since he didn't exactly set the bar high for Mother's Day... He spent the entire day in the basement after sleeping in til noon. Then he fixed a hole in the wall (we'd put new handles on the front door not realizing they'd punch a hole in the wall!) and called it a present to me... So yeah. A card and his favorite breakfast.
I bought my dad some Harley gear.

We're headed down to my BIL's on Saturday. They have a pool, a boat and a fully-stocked bar. Only good can come!
Then my ILs are driving down for a cookout on Sunday. BIL is by far the Family Grill Master, so I'm very excited!
