It's supposed to be rainy, so we might go to the kids gym. LO has been watching so much tv lately, I really want to get him out of the house because my mom guilt is out of control!
What are you doing this weekend?

Open houses (for homes we cannot afford yet) and then brunch with DH's dad and grandma tomorrow. They haven't met the baby yet so that should be nice. And resting my back that I threw out catching my toddler when she fell off the couch.

@Applesandbananas: check this out for today http://www.smithsonianmag.com/museumday/
We have a lot on the agenda: kids have been asking to go practice on the balance bike, black bean brownies I promised to make several days ago, try out our washer, clean out the kitchen and re organize everything. Oh and we need to get our car from the shop.

Going to a sugaring off. Traditional early spring excursion for us (in Canada)! LO will have his first (tiny!) taste of maple syrup at a sugar shack, straight from the source.

@Astro Bee: That sounds awesome!
We are really not doing much this weekend. It's the only free weekend until Memorial Day for us so I plan to stay inside, play with the baby, and not get dressed.

@wrkbrk: It is so awesome! Canada produces 85% of the world's maple syrup, and we are in prime maple forest region, so there are quite a few sugar shacks within a few hours drive. We go with DH's family every year, and stroll through the forest trails, looking at all the tapped trees. Then we partake of a traditional French Canadian meal of pea soup, bacon, sausage, syrup hardened in the snow, pancakes, and more maple syrup. So excited!

@Astro Bee: love this. I went to high school in New England and our school had a farm. We tapped over 2500 maple trees and made maple everything all spring. Some of my favorite high school memories are from working in the sugar shack.

I'm heading to brunch with my parents and grandparents. DW is working all afternoon so T and I will have a quiet afternoon at home while the rain dumps outside.

We didn't really have any plans today but I ended up going grocery shopping alone at 730 this morning to beat the rush/before DH had to work. Then I took the girls to the park and our for mice cream. Home for lunch and naps. Then I'll likely do laundry and we'll play outside. Tomorrow we have church and then dinner at my parents house.

@Applesandbananas: I usually hate shopping even when I'm alone but going way before most people were out was delightful. I genuinely had a good time lol it was my MIL's advice, best advice she's ever given me lol

I was solo this morning with E while DH worked so I played dolls and tea parties with her, between getting a few household jobs done. This afternoon, the three of us went out to lunch, then I took E to visit her nan while DH watched sport. Tomorrow, we need to go grocery shopping but we have nothing else planned.....

We went to an Irish Festival today which was kind of a bust (mostly lines for non-Irish related things such as facepainting, balloon animals, etc.) but we did see a brief music performance.
Later this afternoon we went to a conservation area w/trails with our pup!
Tomorrow we're going to my sisters for brunch. Excited for LO's cousins to see her because they haven't since she started walking!

Today we went to lunch, then did dog rescue transport for a super sweet hound pup, then went to my parents for an early St. Patrick's Day dinner and a bday party for their dog
Tomorrow we are going to brunch with MIL, then to a nursery spring open house and to see Zootopia (again) this time with all the grandparents in tow! Then grocery shopping, meal prep for the week, etc.
