Oh how I wish we got a refund this year. Unfortunately, we owe quite the pretty penny.

We bought some new furniture for the living room and did a little bit of updating in there. Then we put a good chunk in savings and are keeping some in our account for fun money.

We put it in our savings account that we eventually spend on bigger ticket items. Not sure what it will be used for. Last year went towards a boat, year before was wedding, etc. Probably some house stuff or landscaping.

Well despite the calculations on TaxAct it looks like we owe the feds somehow (here's to hoping that changes), but we'll be getting some back from the state (which hasn't happened in all my tax paying years!) So whatever we get back will go towards debt.

We're replacing a window, carpeting our basement stairs, and throwing a chunk at our car loan.

Getting our taxes done this afternoon...and I expect we will get a decent refund (I hope I'm right!). So many things we could use the money for...probably we will pay off a small amount of cc debt, and use the rest to rebuild savings (me going back to school has definitely been a drain...), and pay for some of DD's summer programs. DH would like to get a new couch for the basement but we will see...

Saving for the babe! We may use some to buy gear that we didn't get, too. But after car repairs and an unexpected move, my savings account could use a pick me up!

My sister and I finally sold our house after 2.5 years on the market. It was underwater and so I have to use our refund to settle the mortgage. Bleh.

@Danizaur: that's wonderful! Congratulations. Before I got my current car, we went 3 years without any car payments (both were paid off) and it was such a great feeling. Can't wait to pay this one off!
