Hellobee Boards

I am looking forward to the whole thing. I really love Thanksgiving, and am lucky that my in-laws are really fantastic (we do it with DHs extended family). My husband’s aunt is hosting for the first time, and I am looking forward to the introduction of some new dishes (she eats more like me, and is making gluten free stuffing!).

One thing I am not looking forward to is the inevitable morning sickness I still get in the evening. I really need to eat like a bird for dinner but know I won’t be able to tonight and will regret it.

I was looking forward to my friend’s baby shower - it was scheduled for a few months ago but then her water broke at 32 weeks and she was on bed rest for a month before having the baby, so we rescheduled it to today and she brought the baby. He was so tiny and sweet, and really made me wish we’d had another!

I was dreading taking the boys to get flu shots, and it was so much worse that I imagined - I was just dreading the wait at the walk-in, but then it turned out that they don’t do the inhaled vaccine anymore, I had to tell the boys that actually they were getting needles, and they’ve been weeping off and off for the last two hours - you’d think the tiny needle was a gunshot wound.
