I just started All the Light We Cannot See. Next up is probably When Breath Becomes Air.
What are you reading? What's up next?

I am reading the Griesha series. Just started book 3. Up next is Heartless by Marissa Meyer. I loved the lunar chronicles, so I'm excited!

@Mrs. Microscope: I have Cinder but didn't read it yet, Heartless is a separate series right? @emilye519: just read this a week ago, loved it!

@GreeneB2: I LOVED that one. And I don't even care about dogs OR racecars!

Next up: Crooked Kingdom (Six of Crows, #2) by Leigh Bardugo

@Anya: for some reason i thought it was about running racing, and then quickly realized it's about car racing. But i still like it! Haven't started crying...yet!

Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty, love it so far, can't wait to finish. It's not the fantasy I usually read but hate putting it down.
It's about a single mom who moves to a new town and her 5 year old son starts kindergarten and is accused of being a bully on day 1 - lots of drama and suspense with her and the other kindergarten moms!

@knittylady: great book. Not an easy read, but worth it.
I'm currently reading Bad Feminist by Roxane Gay.

@Anya: How do you like that? @Adira: I just bought Six of Crows with a gift card, I'm excited to start it soon!

I took a vacation break from Alice and Oliver to read the Andy Cohen Diaries (perfect for the beach, SO GOSSIPY!) but now I'm back to it. It's good but making me think about my boys growing up without me and depressing me.

The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah. I just finished The Whole Town is Talking by Fannie Flagg.

@Bao: I read both of those last year! Cried so hard at the end of When Breath Becomes Air

@IRunForFun: One of my favorite books!
@justjules: What did you think of All the Light We Cannot See? I'm actually not as into it as I thought I would be, but everyone else seems to love it.

@emilye519: I wanted to read that one but am afraid it would be too serious.
@josina: I am almost done with Big Little Lies. It is so good, did you know that HBO is making a short series. It starts 2/19!

@Bluemasonjar: Yes just saw that! (and just finished the book - my jaw dropped at one point and I was fighting tears at work!)

@Bao: I read both of those last year!
I'm currently reading M.L. Stedman's The Light Between Oceans and have Julia Heaberlin's Black-Eyed Susan's up next.

@Bao: I did. I didn't LOVE All the Light. I liked it, but I read it back to back with The Nightingale and preferred the latter. Paul Kalanithi's book was tragic but great.
GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22276 posts
@rattles: yeah I had someone tell me All the Light was better than The Nightingale, but I kindly disagree @Tionn3: ooooh I wanted to try those out, question...are they easy reads or super wordy?
kiwi / 680 posts
@Bao: They are pretty long, but not hard to read...kind of like how Harry Potter was long. I think the first book was 700 pages long. I wouldn't say they are super wordy though, it's just that a lot of stuff happens so they are longer. I found them to be very easy reads and highly enjoyable. I finished the first book in 2 weeks.

@josina: loved that one. All her books are great.
Just finished "no bad kids" haha. Need to pick something to start!

@Bao: @Tionn3: Voyager is next on my list. The 2nd one seemed a bit longer/slower than the first one, but I've also been told that is the 'slowest' one of the series.
GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22276 posts
@Tionn3: @josina: went to get the first one from my library and they don't even have it! Ugh. I thought it was pretty popular...
