I'm reading the third hunger games again! I can't remember what happens!

Gone Girl and Cinderella ate My Daughter. But I'm too tired at night to read daily, so it'll take forever to determine how good they are.

I'm currently reading Mission Flats. I'm not that far into it, but it's interesting so far. I just finished reading Dad is Fat by Jim Gaffigan and that was entertaining and a light, easy read.

Currently reading:
Game of Thrones Book #3 - A Storm of Swords. It's so good, I never want to put it down!

To read list:

- David and Goliath
- The Joy of Less
- Allegiant
- Speaker for the Dead and Xenocide (part of the Ender's Game series)

What I recently thought was really good:
- And the Mountains Echoed
- The Fault in Our Stars

Just finished "Empty Mansions" and am currently reading "The Woman Upstairs".

@Mrs. High Heels: you're definitely on the best book so far. #4 was torture for me to get through!

Have you read other Khaled Hosseini books? If so, is And the Mountains Echoed as good?

I like it. I agree that it didn't hook me in the first few pages but I'm halfway through and I really like it

@NurseMommy: #1 was sooo good, #2 was torture to get through (it took me over a year to read!), #3 is the best so far!! And I heard #4 was hard to get through too… =/ But I'm determined to finish the series this year!

I've read all of Khaled Hosseini's books, and Kite Runner is still my favorite (it's actually my favorite book of all time so it's hard to compete with that), followed by A Thousand Splendid Suns. This one has a slightly different format - every chapter is the perspective of a different character, and though it's not quite as strong as the other two books I still loved it. I think his writing is so beautiful and I couldn't put it down. He's my favorite author.

I recently reread Divergent and Insurgent and loved them all over again. Then I read Allegiant and was left in a fit of rage for days! (Okay, rage may be a little dramatic, but I was pissed.)

I started Matched by Ally Condie but haven't had much time to read it.

Re-reading The Historian and listening to The Serpent's Tale during my commute.

I'm reading a book DH got me for Christmas - I think it's called Wallbanger. About a girl who has a manwhore for an apartment neighbor, eventually falls for him, etc.

I just started happiest baby on the block.

ETA: I would not say it is an easy read; complex story lines, a multitude of characters, and even the language takes a while to get used to.

@Mrs. High Heels: wait. Yes. I'm reading book 3, as well. Don't mind me, I skim....

@Bao: I normally fly through books, but this one is taking me a looong time to get through, and I'm only on book 1! I'm sure there are better options out there for you I'm loving the recommendations on this thread so far.
