Today I hit the 24 weeks/viability milestone and I am SO thankful. I really didn't think that we'd make it to this point yet here it is and our little guy is still happily kicking away.
What are you thankful for today??

@Running Elley: Yay for 24 weeks! Congrats! I have one week and one day until 24 weeks. I'm so looking forward to that milestone.
I'm thankful for my little guy everyday! But today, I'm also thankful for my awesome husband. He's off on summer break and working hard around the house to prepare for our little mans arrival.

OK, I'll bite We don't usually cosleep but my babe woke up at 3 a.m. and I brought him to bed. I am thankful that he went right to sleep and it was wonderful to wake up to his little face.

I'm 5 weeks today and just thankful that I'm pregnant
I'm also thankful that I'm only working part-time during the summer (aka first trimester for me). When school starts and I go back to work full-time, I'll be 13 weeks, so pretty nice timing!

@mrskc: I can't wait to see the pictures of your nursery!!
@sloaneandpuffy: Aw
@lilteacherbee: That will be perfect timing! One of my best friends was pregnant last summer and went back to work right at 13 weeks as well and it worked out perfectly for her.

That Olive has been napping so well!
She didn't go down for her first nap of the day because she had pooped while rolling around in her crib. Our nanny changed her and put her back in and she still went to sleep.
This really changes my life!

@Running Elley: That's beautiful!!
Today is not a great day but I'm thankful for two things:
1) Wagon Jr. has been taking his amoxicillin with very little complaint... he actually sucks it down straight from the oral syringe now, and he's so proud of himself afterwards because we cheer for him for being a "big boy"!
2) At my last pedicure (on a date day together!) Wagon Sr. chose a bright magenta pink for my toe color. Today I looked down at my feet (which I've been using l'occitaine foot cream on, a nice indulgence) and even though they're puffy and swollen and housed in not-so-work-appropriate Birkenstock Gizehs, the bright cheery pink made me really happy!

That it is Wednesday so one day closer to Thurs when my hubby gets home. I miss him! And one day closer to him being done with school. On the countdown.

After last night, my G-A-S factor for work stress has bottomed out. I can't function like that, and I certainly don't want butterbean to feel the effects of my stress and anxiety. So, while today is just as hectic and ridiculous as yesterday, I am trying to deflect the stress and *just keep swimming*

today i'm thankful that my husband and i work in offices close enough together that we can meet for lunch sometimes, and commute on the metro together almost every day.

My nerve stimulator. We've been having a tropical storm and normally with crap weather like this my migraines go crazy. It did hurt for one night... but nothing too terrible. It's amazing for me!

My beautiful, warm husband, and that we now live close enough to his work that he can come home for lunch. That my pregnant tummy now looks pregnant. My lovely house and yard.
ETA: And brownies. Not glad I want brownies. But glad I had them on hand!

Today I'm thankful that AF hasn't shown up yet! My temps are down, so I'm pretty sure I'm not pregnant, but just making it through 10dpo without AF or spotting is something for me to be thankful for - my last two LPs have been 9 days, with spotting starting a couple days before.
@artbee: what's a nerve stimulator? Sounds painful, but if it helps with the migraines then hooray!!

Mine is a little more 'in depth' I guess....
My oldest got head lice....I found it a week ago today by a hair that had fallen out of her head and landed on our sink and there was one on there...I didn't freak out at first.
I ran a comb through her hair and sure enough they were there. I didn't see anything on my youngest or husband. Their step mom came right over and did the treatment on me, my youngest and my oldest and I did one on her.
She didn't find anything on me or my youngest either. I was doing really well thinking it wasn't that big of a deal and we'd get it. But, then I had one fall on my shoulder and I didn't know if it came from me or the towel I had taken off my head so my anxiety started.
I've mentally been a mess since then. So bad I haven't been able to eat, I've lost 5lbs in 6 days....I've been totally consumed by it.
I'm not sure why it's affected me so bad. We went through this last year and it was way worse and I handled it fine.
We've retreated my oldest twice and taken hours upon hours of sifting through to get everything. My mom is coming tonight to do the 1 week follow up treatment on me and my youngest like they say too. I'm hopeful I'm still clean and we managed to dodge a full infestation. I'm still scared though.
So, I'm thankful that today I've managed to eat breakfast and Lunch and didn't need to go back on the anxiety meds like my dr thought I should.
I am confident I can get through this.
(sorry for the gross topic and for my causing most of you to now scratch your heads lol)
holy long...I apologize....I apparently needed to vent

@Running Elley: That is just beautiful to read and I am so happy for you and DH!
Today, I am very thankful for my co-workers who just pulled together a shower in a matter of days after it was announced on Monday morning that I was being put on bed rest. Not only were they super generous, but they are such a caring and wonderful group of people who are pushing me out the door and telling me not to worry about work while I'm gone. That is just priceless to me.

@Rachel: It's exactly what it sounds like, stimulates the nerves! It's on my occipital nerve in my neck and they implanted a battery for it in my lower back. The surgery was painful, but as long as I don't turn it up too high it doesn't hurt at all.

I am grateful every second for Harper, and also for her Daddy:) Just over the moon every time I think about the fact that I have this sweet little life growing inside me, and the person I love more than anyone in the world put her there... It overwhelms me with emotion and gratitude often.
And I'm especially grateful that her Triple Screen bloodwork just came back awesome, and she's one very healthy little pink monkey:)

My husband got home at 4:45pm and immediately took M from me. I'm also thankful for the pizza I got for lunch and scarfed down like it was my job. And, that M's belly button cord is aaalllllmost off. It's so gross right now, holding on by one little string!!

My LO slept 3 hours straight last night--and then another 3 after that! I feel so rested compared to before.
AND I did SO much today. The house *looks* like a mess because--you know--sometimes you have to take things apart to put them back together. Everything is more organized now. LO cooperated with my busy day.
