After E's swim lesson tomorrow we're heading down to DH's aunt's cabin on the Chesapeake Bay. His aunt is home from Belgium and a BIL/SIL/2 nephews are there right now. Sunday we might all trek up to other BIL's house in Annapolis for a post-4th of July pool party. Mojitos and Buffalo Chicken Dip by the pool FTW!
Then when we come home I need to get serious about making a packing list for our beach trip. We leave on Thursday!

@FutureMrsMcK: I'm temporarily living abroad to conduct research for my dissertation. Which is great for me professionally but it's so hard to be away from home and especially dh! I'm here on and off through December so we've still got a loooong time to go 
though, with both of us making visits we probably won't have to go longer than a month in between seeing each other, so it could definitely be worse.

@travellingbee: We're headed down to a NC beach close to the SC border (last year we were close enough to walk--albeit it was a long walk). We'll be with pretty much ALL of DH's family, but my MIL has sworn we'll have our own bathroom. We had a lot of fun last year, and are really excited to have DS there this year.
@nana87: Oh wow. That's really exciting about your dissertation...I'm glad you get to see your DH on a pretty regular basis though!

Single parenting while Mister Jacks is off in a wedding in CA. We just couldn't travel again right now with the girls.
We have a friendly wager going on about the neatness of the house when he gets home. I will win!

Our weekend started early with a kid's party on Friday afternoon. Then on Saturday, the in-laws are visiting. FIL will be finishing up the painting and it it's as hot as it's predicted, DD will finally get to try out her kiddie pool and bathing suit. On Sunday, depending on the weather, we're likely just cleaning and relaxing, maybe grocery shopping and a morning stroll by the lake.

Not much. chillaxing at home and getting some house stuff done. Might go up to the park. Friends who are moving out of town are coming over for dinner. Haven't decided if I'm cooking or we'll just order takeout.

We're spending the day in the city tomorrow - exhibits at the Met, some random shopping and walking around then dinner with friends downtown. Lady M is having a sleepover with her grandparents.

just hanging out, solo! DH is away for the weekend. I think tomorrow morning I'm going to go to yogo and then grab a tea downtown and wander around!! Maybe hit up the beach.

we did a lot yesterday so we're keeping it mellow this weekend. yesterday we flew kites at the park, went to the public pool, then to a bbq. tomorrow we're going to a food truck rally, going to the library (which is where the food truck rally is), and then a playdate at the public pool.
sunday.... no idea but prolly just stay close to home and go to the playground and hang out at home.

@fancyfunction: thanks! I'm originally from NY so there's lots of friends and family to see! We are renting a house upstate because it's easiest with LO. IL's will be with us helping out! I hope it's relaxing rather than stressful.

We're going out of town to my dad and stepmum's house where they're hosting a BBQ in our honour to introduce all their friends/family to DD. They were going to do a women only sip and see, but we decided a coed BBQ was more inclusive. Looking forward to it but also stressed that DD will just want to nurse the whole time and ill be stuck inside unable to socialize.

My city holds a three day music festival - all free - in a big park every year and its this weekend. I missed last night but I'm hoping to go today and maybe tomorrow afternoons (perhaps into the evening if I can handle it!). The weather should be amazing (im not 100% sure yet as its only 6am!!).

My little brother is home and visiting from St. Louis (we live in CA) and meeting his little niece (our 4 month LO) for the first time. So exciting!
