We don't eat at many chain restaurants these days but growing up we *loved* going to Red Lobster and Swiss Chalet (only in Canada!). I am craving some of that right now and wish we had those two restaurants here!
DH loves Applebee's. We go once in a blue moon!

When we're out of town I always have to choose between Cheddars & Chipotle.... it's SOOOO hard! lol

@runsyellowlites: there's one in my hometown but we haven't been home in a year and a half. I just checked and we're almost 4000 miles from the nearest Cheddar's! Stupid ocean!

Olive Garden - just for the salad! I also love On the Border.

@T-Mom: Usually, like when in SA at the hospital for my moms surgery Chipotle won (it wasn't even a mile away). lol. When we go to Austin to see my dad, we almost always eat at Cheddars.
@grizz: Uh yes! Everything is good there! I always get the mango salsa tilapia w/ broccoli & coleslaw... and a salad with honey lime dressing b/c they have the best honey lime dressing! lol

Hmm Panera and Chipotle for fast food. I can't think of any sit down chain restaurants that I would say are my favorite.
