I used to make a milk-tea growing up that I couldn't get enough of... come to think of it, it's very similar to the iced coffees I now drink whenever I get the chance.
I remember the first time I had Calpico (aka Karupisu), this uncarbonated soft drink from Japan... I loved it! Our kids had a similar reaction the first time they sipped it the other day... it must have tons of sugar ha. I also just loved the taste though.

I still remember in special occasions this we got a virgin strawberry dacquir. We thought we were so cool drinking out of the plastic wine glass.

@Smurfette: yes! We got these to celebrate the last day of school. I remember thinking we were cool too.
Also... Fresh milk right from my grandparents farm, tang, and meadow tea. Brings back the memories!

I loved Yoo-hoo as a kid, but now I find it kind of gross. I also loved orange flavored CapriSun, and Hi-C with Slimer from Ghostbusters on the front.

Ovaltine, Gatorade and Frosties from Wendy's (not all mixed together, though).
@ncsuchick27: I loved CapriSun, too, but always had trouble inserting the straw!

@Katrocap: I perfected inserting the straw because I drank so many of them. You have to squeeze the pouch and put your thumb on the end of the straw while you insert it. Squeezing the pouch helps to keep you from poking through the back and your thumb helps to keep the juice from squirting out through the straw.

My grandparents were big coffee drinkers and always had a pot on. They used to make it in one of those old school Italian coffee pots you put on the stove. They always used to make me a little cup with probably a teaspoon of coffee and a cup of warm milk. It was the best! I felt so grown up. My mom hated it! Lol

Calpico here too! That drink is so addicting... must be the sugar! 
And living in Asia now I get all kinds of yummy drinks, including a lot of yogurt drinks in all kinds of flavors. They sell it in half gallon jars here everywhere! My oldest loves it!

We only had water at home to drink, but once a week we'd get Welch's sparkling grape juice as a special treat. 
And then on my birthday at Don Pablos, I'd order a virgin daiquiri.

I was addicted to Tang (for breakfast instead of OJ) as an elementary school kid. I have no idea when I gave it up - I think it went off the market!
