We live in an apartment building and garbage runs Mondays and Fridays. To be honest, there are some times when it doesn't feel often enough!

Our city has the dumbest system for garbage pick-up and I HATE it! It runs on an eight day cycle. So this week garbage/recycling day was Monday, meaning next week it will be on Tuesday. When it falls on a Friday your next pickup isn't for two Mondays (a week and a half). It's really dumb and makes it hard to remember which day it falls on in any given week.

Our garbage is on Thursday, unless a holiday falls between Monday and Thursday, then it's on Friday.

Garbage comes every Wednesday morning and Recycling is every other Wednesday. We rarely have more than one trash bag in our huge can but recycling is another story! I wish their pick-ups were reversed
