And the opposite of @peaches1038: - the standard day for all employees at my company is 9-6, so it'd ideally be open until 6:30 for me.

Early start, like 7. I like to get in before 8 to do some stuff and beat the rush hour traffic. Then I pick up between 4 and 5.

7:30 - 6:30. I drop off at about 7:45am, and am usually picking up at about 5:45, but I like a cushion on the end of the day.

6:00 am to 6:30 pm, which are the hours of the daycare we send LO. I have picked LO up after 6 pm and it was stressful, but so happy I didn't get penalized ($) because of the extra half hour built into their hours. Most days I drop off between 6:45 am- 7:20 am. DH drops off closer to 6 am to beat traffic.

6:30-6:30. This have been the hours of both our daycares and they have been ideal! When I used to work downtown I couldn't pick up until close to 6:30, and then if I had a meeting at 8 am then I'd often drop off between 6:30-7 am.

7 am to 6 pm.

Our current daycare hours are 6:30-6:30. I love it! I try to be at work around 7/7:15 so I can leave early to avoid traffic and spend time with my kids before the evening "requirements" and the night passes too quickly. Sometimes, I wish they were open at 6, but I'm happy with 6:30.

6:30-6:30 would be amazing. Our current is 7:15-6, and I have a lot of 7 am meetings and occasionally miss one if DH can't drop off. I usually pick up by 5:30 but wouldn't mind a cushion for the occasional days I'm running later.

7-6. I work from 8-5ish most days. DH works 8:30-4ish but has longer commute. Our daycare is actually open 6-7 which allows for great flexibility if our hours ever change.

Our daycare is open 6am-630pm. It's extremely hard to find a daycare open that early and I think they get the majority of their clients strictly for the hours. These hours are ideal for us as they work for both my husbands and my shifts.

Most places here are 7-7 since many office jobs in the NYC area are 9-6 schedule. I would prefer a smidge earlier because I leave for work at 6:45. When my oldest was in daycare and my husband was out of town for work, it was tricky dropping her and getting to work on time. I had to beg her daycare to let me drop her before 7 on those days. When my husband is home, it's no problem because he doesn't leave for work till 8.

7-6:30. When we did daycare, the latest they were open was 6, which was so rough with traffic around here. I was always so stressed about being late, one accident or bad weather would throw the whole thing off. I used to google map traffic for like an hour before my work day ended and gauge if I'd need to leave early to make it there on time. Without traffic it was 20 mins, with regular rush it was an hour. Don't miss those days at all!

We need 7-5:30 but I'd like cushion on both sides. We currently pay DCP a little extra for the 7-7:30 since she technically doesn't open until 7:30. DS eats breakfast with DCP's family.

I send LO 830-4, but they are open 730 to 530. I feel like my ideal schedule would be 7-6.

7:30 - 6:30 would be great. Our daycare is 8-6 and it works but is uncomfortably tight.

Ours is open until 5:30 and sometimes it's hard to get there in time! His first center was until 6:30 and while I typically didn't need care until then, it was nice to have the option.
Since DH doesn't start work early, we don't need early AM either, but if he's not here or if he were to get a different job, then we'd need earlier hours.

Our prior daycare was 6:30-6:30. But that was a large center and I felt it was pretty disruptive all the various teacher shifts and consolidation of classrooms morning and afternoon.
Our current is downtown so very close to everyone's work and it's 7:30-5:30 and it works well.

6:30-6. Their current schedule is 7:30-6 which does work for us since she's there from 7:30-3:30. But if I need to do pick up I'm there around 5:30. Dh can't really do drop offs since he'd need it to be at 6:30 or 7ish.
