I cannot listen to Pink (No offense to those who like her music). She is banned from my radio. I will listen to commercials over a Pink song. Oh and Michael Buble. I don't know why, but I just can't listen to his music.

I can't handle Sheryl Crow music. I don't know why, but there was a resurgence of her music on a local radio station recently and it drove me crazy.

The only time I listen to the radio is when my husband and I rent a car--which happens about twice a year. That being said I hate Nicki Minaj with a passion!

Nickleback, Rhianna, Lady Gaga, Adele (only when over played on radio, love her CDs and non-released songs)
I like songs in moderation & unfortunately around here that does not happen! I usually listen to iPod so I get a nice mix of music.

When I actually do listen to the radio its either oldies or country. Country is just usually pretty "clean" and kid friendly.

On a side note this just reminded me of. Get this.... I was in my car with DD one weekend we had her. I had a friend in my car last and the radio was on like some new hits radio station. The song S&M by Rihanna came on. DD instantly started singing along. As soon as I got pulled out of the parking space I changed it ASAP. She KNEW THE WORDS! I stopped the car and looked back at her shocked. She went "Heeeeey why did you change it?" I told her that was not an appropriate song and we were NOT going to listen to it. She goes "Well my other mommy lets me listen to it." In which I responded "Well this one doesnt" I could NOT beleive it. I told DH about it later. I was sooo shocked that ONE she was allowed to listen to music like that, and TWO knew the words to such a trashy song. This was a few mos ago, she was SEVEN at the time.
Have you HEARD that song? Oh my GOSH!!!!!

@mediagirl: I HATED dave matthews band growing up. Every single person in my high school loved them and went to the concerts in tie dyed shirts. I hated my high school so much.

I've banned Kanye West. I have no respect for that guy as a person (especially after his immature and offensive gesture towards Taylor Swift during one of the award shows). I refuse to listen to him or support him.

@tina: That's my DH says too. Boo!! He thinks he's super talented and likes his music. I could totally care less. There are plenty of other artists that have great music but carry themselves with more class and integrity.

Ditto Rihanna. Her songs are of the lamo variety that get stuck in your head for 2 weeks, IMO. Also Taylor Swift but that's just because I think she is so wet.
