So I know this is totally unimportant but I'm curious! I was thinking of using a backpack we share for hiking, and then thought maybe a duffel bag....
Anyway, what did you use for your hospital bag?
*Wasn't sure what category to put this in!

We used a big travel backpack for postpartum toiletries and clothes, and a large tote bag for labor items and snacks.

We used a little rolling suitcase. Dh had a lot to carry so it was helpful to have the wheels.

Same as @JessiBee, carry-on sized rolling suitcase. It was nice to be able to roll it in & around the hospital. I also brought a small duffel for all of our toiletries.

I used a gigantic tote, it fit everything for me DH and LO including 2 pillows. Like this one. And yes it was Hello Kitty

DH and I are both over packers, so we packed everything in rolling suitcase. Then had a Vera Bradley large duffel with stuff for LO. It was pretty empty going there but full leaving.

I like the idea of a small-ish rolling suitcase.... We need one anyway so I may get one. We just don't have anything that size right now. We don't even have a regular duffel bag! Just backpacks and large suitcases.
Thanks!

All of my stuff was in a large Vera Bradley duffel, LO's stuff was in my diaper bag (that also was used as my purse), and then my husband brought his stuff in a backpack. We didn't really overpack and we still didn't have enough room for everything when we left (nurses gave us tons of diapers/wipes to take home plus we had gifts)...he had to make two trips to the car to get us out of the hospital!

@knittylady: check stores like TJ Maxx, Ross, or Marshall's. way better price if you aren't worried about a matching set.

LL Bean medium duffle. It rolls and was big enough for all my stuff and the baby's stuff.
