I need a good brand of lotion that actually works! I always struggle to find a good one that lasts more than a few hours. Which brand of daily body lotion do you use?

Cetaphil. Great for sensitive skin, not greasy or heavy but leaves skin nice and soft. I also like Eucerin, but it's heavier.

Renew Intensive Skin Therapy by Melaleuca. It's not cheap, but I'm allergic to pretty much all hand lotions, so it's worth it for me.

I use Trader Joe's Moisturizing Cream - Extra Dry Formula, and Burt's Bee's Almond Milk Hand Creme for my hands and feet.

I use Trader Joe's body lotion. I can't remember the name of it, but it's in a white bottle. I HATE sticky lotions but I need something really moisturizing, so this is perfect.
I also use Aveeno Baby eczema lotion for my eczema prone areas. It's nice for hands too!

Cetaphil for super dry skin, Suave for regular skin (it absorbs really quickly and leaves the skin soft!)

I feel like I've used every kind of lotion there is, and I STILL can't find one I like
This thread has given me a couple new ones to try though!

I use The Body Shop's Hemp Body Butter. I like it because it isn't greasy feeling and lasts all day!!
All body butters are 50% right now!

@Alivoo01: oooooh. I don't think I've tried the hemp one. Right now I'm all over the aloe one!

@.twist.: It's smells kind of woodsy, but I don't mind it. I have extremely dry hands so I tried their hemp hand protector at first and loved it so I bought their body butter also. Nothing else has worked for moisturizing my hands. Haven't tried their other body butters though. I wouldn't mind a better fragrance if they're all just as moisturizing!!

@Alivoo01: Oh great... I'm spending money like I have it... totally adding some body butters to my cart!

@Alivoo01: I find there are two types of body butter there, one seems really smooth an oily and the other seems thicker and not as smooth looking and not as oily, I prefer the less smooth and less oily ones. I have insanely dry skin (hello peeling!) and I find they so the BEST job. I like the coconut butter and the aloe and the Shea and strawberry butters!

@BananaPancakes: ooh that one is so nice. My mom got some as a gift and I use it every chance I get!

Lubriderm extra dry skin...the pink one. It's my holy grail...so thick but totally not greasy and sinks in so well. I've used it for years. Not the prettiest or sexiest body lotion out there but nothing else is as effective!

TJ's lavender hand & body lotion. I'm very picky about lotions & I love it.

Philosophy! We just got some and I'm surprise at how nice it is...last all day even on my super dry skin and is not greasy at all.

I use different ones for different seasons. Spring: Vaseline (yellow bottle), Summer - Vaseline (green bottle), Fall- Aveeno and Winter: Curell
