The infant cold was inevitable. Especially because I went back to work 2 weeks ago and I've seen a boat load of rsv.
Lo has been really congested. He's 3 months old. What can I do to help? I feel limited because of his age. Vapor rub? If so, what's your favorite natural one?
I do saline drops and the nose frida. We also have a humidifier going.
I know a thread was just posted a week or so ago but I thought I'd see if there is anything different I should do for a younger baby.

at that age, we did just what you've been doing for DS. humidifer, nose frieda/saline. 
even at 15 months now, those are our go to methods, aside from waiting it out.

Steamy shower. I would take one and have her in the bouncy seat, then leave it on and steam up the bathroom. Then I'd also suction out her nose when we were done.

I'm seconding @lawbee11's suggestion. We use that when DD is congested and @singingbee's suggestion about the shower. We also prop her up so her mucus can drain. Also saline spray and nose frida

Elevate the head end of his mattress
Baby Vicks on the soles of his feet, then put socks over top
Eucalyptus oil in the humidifier

We also hang out in the steamy bathroom (just running the super hot shower), then big time nosefrida. Especially right before bed.

@MrsH: Thanks mama! He scared the crap out of me when he choked on the phlegm last night. I scooped him up and I held him on the couch all night just so I could keep an eye on him and so he was upright.

@Ash: Oh forgot to mention I got some of this, too. I add a capful to a warm bath right before bed, then I Nose Frida her immediately afterwards. I think it helps...even if not it smells really good!

@Ash: yes. We steam and then suck it out with the nose Frieda. It's great! I can even watch her nose start to run while in the bathroom so it definitely loosens stuff up.

Vicks baby on their feet with socks and then footie pj's. You need the baby and not the adult version. It helps overnight.

@Ash: it does make a difference. I also started spraying the saline and then waiting a few minutes before I sucked her out. It seemed to help a little more.
